Seine fotografischen Wurzeln hat der 1975 in Gera geborene und in Leipzig lebende Fotokünstler Lars Ihring in der Astrofotografie. Doch von den Sternen, Planeten und Kometen fand er schnell den Weg zu irdischen Schönheiten. Seit 1997 arbeitet er nun vorrangig in Bereichen der Akt- und Erotikfotografie.
Seine im normalen Umfeld inszenierten Fotos haben einen eigenen Stil mit hohem Wiedererkennungswert und zeugen von Liebe zum Motiv. Oft lässt er sich erst vor Ort durch die Location zu interessanten Motiven inspirieren, seltener werden die Shootings durchgeplant. Spontanität ist ihm ebenso wichtig wie die Integration der Persönlichkeit des Models in das Bild. Er versucht versteckte Facetten hervor zu locken, verborgene Seiten des Models sichtbar zu machen dabei aber das Model nie unglaubwürdig erscheinen zu lassen.
Living near Leipzig, Germany, photo artist Lars Ihring has his roots in astro-photography. From stars, planets and comets he swiftly focused on more earthly beauties. For 6 years he now mainly works in the fields of artistic nude and erotic photography. His photos set in scene in the realms of everyday life have a style of their own and bear witness to the love of detail. He often gets inspired on location and rarely plans his shootings to the very detail. Spontaneity is as important to him as the integration of the model’s personality into the photo. He strives to uncover the model’s hidden facetts without making the model look unauthentic.
